Paediatric Nurse

Are you passionate about nurturing the potential of our future generation and providing high-quality and compassionate care to our Island’s infants, children and their families?

Our caring, motivated and enthusiastic paediatric nurses provide a diverse range of evidence-based holistic and therapeutic care to children aged 0 to 17.

Our paediatric nurses cover everything from Emergency Department to Jersey Neo-Natal Unit (JNU) to Diabetes, Epilepsy and Oncology – all at Jersey General Hospital. Paediatric care is administered from our 10-bedded ‘Robin Ward’, which can be expanded to 13.

Our team have extraordinary clinical, teamwork and interpersonal skills that have enabled them to develop innovative and flexible approaches to improving the child and family experience. Day-to-day, our nurses take pride in monitoring and evaluating the children under their care with expertise, empathy and kindness.

Come and work with our inclusive, supportive and diverse team in a beautiful and safe Island while benefitting from ongoing professional development, a healthy work-life balance and flexible hours.

Seeing my staff achieve what they cannot in the UK because of time pressures is hugely rewarding. In Jersey, we can support training, increase knowledge and skills and enable off-Island travel to conferences. We also conduct nurse-led clinics within the epilepsy, oncology and outpatient departments. The wider team we have here of consultants, paediatricians, and middle grade, is small but close – we are like a family.
